HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY KALIE!!!

She wanted doughnuts for her birthday celebration at school. On your birthday in Mrs. McAlpin's class, you get treated like royalty. She was sung to out in the hallway, got to help the teacher all day and sit in this very comfy chair in the front of the room all day long. If you have to go to school on your birthday, what a way to do it! I can't believe 10 years ago we became a family of 3! WOW!These sisters are so crazy about each other!

Amy keeps Hanan and Hallie after school so they came to the "party" as well.

I love that Drew got her expression- she had wanted a little digital camera and here she is opening it. I am so glad that we got extra batteries! ha!Kalie wanted a chocolate cake that we made together so that's what we did- with pink icing (my grandmother's recipe- thanks Mimi!) of course!

Daniel, Abbe, Jonah and Maddie came by for the celebration and Amy was there too, but the picture of her with Kalie was taken on Kalie's camera and I don't know how to download it yet- ha! We enjoyed getting with family and then the five of us ate at Olive Garden. Kalie had a great day and received wonderful presents that she has been so thankful and excited over.
Ten years ago, at 6:17 pm this little one came into our lives and stole our hearts immediately. She was almost a month early and we were so thankful she was okay. Kalie is the most awesome oldest daughter- she is a wonderful big sister, a precious child with a sweet and gentle spirit like none other. She has a sense of humor that will keep you in stitches and a heart the size of Texas so to speak. She is such a joy in our lives and we are so thankful for the gift of Kalie Michelle. Happy Birthday sweetheart! We love you!
