Labor Day Weekend

Our sweet friend Abby Grace invited Kalie to her football game- it was her last game to cheer as she left for DC to work on the Senate floor for 8 months. Kalie loved going and is crazy about Abby Grace!

Beach Bum Day at school- they always have a ball!Downtown has started having this special thing the first Friday night of each month. Different bands set up and various artists, etc. It has a great turn out. Drew got back from being out of town and we went for a while- Kalie was at a birthday party.

Drew gives Kate "zerberts" and as you see below, Kate gave them back to Drew!!Getting Daddy!This picture cracks me up- the goats LOVE the horses and frequent the pasture often. They all seem to enjoy each other's company. This is Suzy and the goats are Patches and Amy (i'm not sure how Amy got her name). Patches was abandoned as a baby and we raised him with a bottle- he is several years old now and still loves to be petted and loved on!We found a wild vine of gourds so we all went and picked them since we are getting ready to decorate for fall!We had everyone over for pancakes Saturday morning.Kate knows her eye...and her nose.... (you better watch out- she will find your nose too!)Karlee and Kate getting ready to go to Sunday school- this was promotion day and it was hard for Karlee being separated from Kate and having a new teacher. But she did well after we shared a few tears and lots of hugs. Kate even went to her class! This was a first!Today, we spent some time on the lake with family and then went to Athens where we got together with the Greens and Morgans. Jerry, Connie and Austin so graciously opened their home up for us all and we had a great evening. We love this picture- we all have a different child in our arms! I have the newest addition- Lily Grace Green, Laura has Kate and Connie has Sarah. Kate and Lily Grace- helping themselves to the fridge and the drawer of bowls and spoons. I think Connie had 20 plastic spoons in the door of her fridge! Austin was great- he took the little girls out on wagon rides. We are trying hard to get a picture of all the girls. See how they cooperate??




Here we are really trying- obviously Kate thinks its hilarious and Sarah has had enough. Lily Grace is just convinced we are all crazy....
