July = SURGERY

We just got back from the orthopedic today with Kate's thumbs. She is scheduled for surgery on both of them July 25. She has what they call trigger thumbs and it has something to do with the tendon- the bones are good. They go in at the base of the thumbs and make two tiny incisions to repair it. It is quick- a day surgery but she does have to be put to sleep. We know the physician doing the surgery- the same one who looked at her today and we trust him and respect him. So, as you pray, please pray for Dr. Joiner and for Kate. Meanwhile, we are having a fun summer swimming, playing outside, eating icees, etc. Will post new pictures soon.
