Go Back to Last Week

In between our trip to Atlanta and our trip to the Beach, we had a fun opportunity that I wanted to share. Our church hosted some teenagers from all over our country and needed host homes. We had three girls from Florida around the ages of 16-18. They were AWESOME! We took a late night trip to Krispy Kreme, watched Veggie Tales (their request) and just talked and laughed. They were such a blessing. Here we are with Miranda, Michelle and Nikki on our last morning.
Also, today we have had Kate in our family for 3 months. WOW- she has come so far! She eats well, sleeps well (once she falls asleep) and is trying so hard to talk. She understands almost all of what we say to her. She is generally happy (except for lots of car travel) and loves her big sisters. She squeals when her daddy walks in the door, recognizes her family members and likes to know mama is close by. What a joy! We can't imagine life without her!
Tomorrow, we leave at 5 am for Karlee's surgery. Please pray for her and for the doctors. I will post tomorrow night with a few pictures!
