Kate earlier in the day. Kalie had field day. I will post more pictures tomorrow. It is so hard to choose just a few to post from this special day!

We had a wonderful family party today celebrating Kate's 2nd birthday. There were 7 cousins here and they all loved playing in the backyard and especially in Kate's new sandbox she got for her birthday. Kate loved it as long as it did not get on her feet. She ever so daintily scooped the sand and poured it in a bucket over and over but never touched it! We are so THANKFUL that she is HOME on her birthday. We are so thankful to have her, singing to her and loving her. I enjoyed watching her play just so grateful for God giving us such a gift. And yes, I reflect on her birthmother across the world. What does she feel today? Well, this family honors her and will forever be indebted to her for the undescribable sacrifice she made. We pray that God will lead someone to her who believes in Christ and that she will come to know Him so that Kate and her birthmother will meet again one day. I pray for a peace to be over her tonight that she may know that her daughter is so loved and celebrated and is home with her forever family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE!! WE LOVE YOU!!
