A Tribute to a Special Person

Today was Kalie's last day of 2nd grade and I want you to know that it came with tears and mixed emotions. She has LOVED every day of school. Mrs. Hardcastle, her teacher, told the greatest stories- they were all real life- and that lady has had some amazing adventures! They learned so much like Kalie's two favorites- multiplication tables and cursive writing. She constantly sought out their strengths and positives and turned those into honors and rewards for the class. She is an amazing woman. Kalie knew she was loved and felt secure to be who she is- and she has thrived. I will have to say- this is the reputation of her school and its because of teachers like Mrs. Hardcastle. So, although Kalie is excited about the summer and having more time to play and hang out, this day came only after tears were shed. Isn't that every parent's wish? For their children to be so happy while at school? Mrs. Hardcastle- we thank God for you. We honor you and you will always be so special to our family!
